Based on the first book in the Famous Five series, it sees the first meeting of the Five - Julian, Dick and sister Anne with their cousin George (who is a girl but wants to be a boy) and Timmy the dog as they visit Kirrin Island, find lost gold and stop thieves.

Graphics

Being a text adventure, I won?t dwell on the graphics, but it does feature graphics for certain locations on the disc version. These are well done in Mode 0. The text is very readable and easy to see.

Gameplay

The game is addictive and keeps dragging you back - it took me 5 years to work out how to get into the dungeons. The thing that lets it down is the parser, because you have to be very specific in certain commands. But it?s a minor gripe and the game is very good. Save and Load can be used..
