Yet again our hero is pulled out of his nice warm retirement bed and asked to take over from James Bond who is currently on holiday with a couple of teenage girls, some Martine, a corset and his walking stick. You must stop another gang of evil terrorists from taking over the world and causing havoc, or something along those lines, by destroying the enemy bases around the ocean.

Graphics

While the other Bob Morane games have featured some of the best graphics we have seen in a CPC game it?s no secret that from the moment you get past the good looking loading/language selection screen the game goes tits up. Colours are very basic, your jetski is incredibly small and undescriptive, the playing area is hard to see properly and the overall graphics look very rushed. Sadly it would appear that the Bob Morane series has just seen it?s first casualy of the term "flogging a dead horse" as the development team sold this title on the name alone.

Sound

Unlike the graphics it appears that some effort was actually put into the sound effects area of Bob Morane : Ocean. We are once again greeted by some very nice music before being presented with a bleeping map and enough gunfire sounds to wake up that old lady from down the street, pitty the game wasn?t done a bit better really.

Gameplay

Gameplay is almost a no go area, based closely on the James Bond games by Domark in which you are sitting behind a car of another craft you must destroy the enemy bases and keep enough energy for your reward afterwards.

Because of the awful gameplay area, poorly drawn graphics and some kind of bug that causes your CPC to crash at random intervals the game is not something that would ever have been loaded more than twice on the real thing, sure we are in an age were CPC games take seconds to load but even this is going to prove a little annoying.
