Of course, the Amstrad CPC464 loose by far as the BBC micro was owned by the BBC... just like the channel broadcasting this programm.{{#ev:youtube|fu9Bmlk67Dk|300}}
It was clearly cheated with the "this old junk BBC do have more softwares than the brand new released Amstrad" argument. As this granted an awfull lot of "points" compaired to others tests the Amstrad won by far.
The Graphical capabilities was a bit cheated too==Amstrad PLUS and GX4000 French Ads (Crocodiles inside)== {{#ev:youtube|HKghiDIljrw|300}} {{#ev:youtube|-LdBZSztB8A|300}} {{#ev:youtube|SHHvYPQNbY4|300}} {{#ev:youtube|XotpJVK80ck|300}} {{#ev:youtube|me94VyUSclw|300}}   ==Amstrad PC1512 French Ads== {{#ev:youtube|dIH63w1BjsQ|300}} {{#ev:youtube|X7o-BoXXu70|300}} {{#ev:youtube|8wzBi7YVt90|300}} ==Amstrad PCs Australian Ads== {{#ev:youtube|84dzQK0cnAE|300}} (Where are the crocodiles ???)   == CPC related ==  {{#ev:youtube|Zo7jnQXvtNo|300}} It comes as no surprise that the CPC464 lost to the BBC. The CPC did have a better palette BBC was, of 27 colours (16 for course, commissioned and promoted by the BBC) and could display twice colours , so that the criteria used were biased in large pixels modefavor of the Acorn machine.
The Fullscreen trick wasn't quite known at For instance, they overplayed the time despite enabling Amstrad's CPC to really get a resolution comparable to BBC'ssoftware quantity point; but this would leave any new machine fighting an uphill fight. Also, the graphical capabilities were not protrayed accurately, maybe because they were not fully understood.
