The '''FuturePlayer '''is a combination of hardware and software to play '''MP3 songs with the CPC'''. The bitrate can be up to 128 kbps.
*The hardware part is consists of a peripheral card that which is connected to the printer port of the CPC or CPCPlusand to a stereo amplifier. It was developped originally developped by [[Dr. Zed ]] for a his CP/M computer.&nbsp;[[TFM|TFM]]&nbsp;got&nbsp;in contact with [[Dr.Zed|Drand both decided to create the FuturePlayer. Zed]] and so Dr. Zed build the MP3 card also itself for the CPC.
