Pride Utilities 8bit Printer Port

596 bytes added, 23:30, 10 January 2010
A hardware adapter from Pride Utilities that connects to the 7bit printer port, and adds the 8th printer bit, without further hardware modification.

Probably it does somehow merge two 7bit values into a 8bit value. The exact function is unknown.

Note: Pride Utilites also made some software-based printer drivers,
*Printer Pac-1 DMP1 and Epson printer utility Basic extensions (RSX)
*Printer Pac-2
These two drivers do not seem to be doing anything unusual with the printer port. So, there should be an additional driver for the 8bit adapter...?
