Hi Zoe!

Welcome to CPC-Wiki! Could you reupload the screenshots at Amstrad Action September 1987 Type-Ins without the scanline effect? Those scanlines make the image thumbnails extremely dark and hard to decipher.

Thanks! --Morn (talk) 13:47, 23 October 2013 (EEST)

The scanlines came up when I took the screenshot. I'll see if I can deinterlace them but I can't guarantee anything. --ZoeRobinson (talk) 14:06, 23 October 2013 (EEST)
Thanks for the new versions, they look much better. Which emulator is this BTW? I tend to use JavaCPC for screenshots and so far I've not encountered any unintended scanlines... --Morn (talk) 19:51, 23 October 2013 (EEST)
It's MacCpc, which is pretty good for bashing out type-ins because it's fast and lightweight. It's not so good for making sure they work, however - it doesn't handle RSXes well, plus a few other issues cropped up while I was working on Issue 25; hence that's not going to be a 100% tested update. :( --ZoeRobinson (talk) 20:53, 23 October 2013 (EEST)
Well, JavaCPC works on OS X too (if you have Java installed of course), so maybe you should try that for screenshots. And of course it's also a very accurate emulator otherwise. --Morn (talk) 19:29, 24 October 2013 (EEST)
Thanks. I'll give it a look. --ZoeRobinson (talk) 19:33, 24 October 2013 (EEST)
The download link for the Desktop edition is a bit difficult to find (i.e. it's not under "Downloads"). It's here: http://cpc-live.com/data/index.php Then just uncompress the ZIP file and double click JavaCPC.jar in the Finder... --Morn (talk) 01:06, 25 October 2013 (EEST)

Robin PD
