Thanks to the success of the CPC464 Amstrad was able to be a major part of the computer market in the '80s.

  • PCW: a revolutionary and fully equipped 8-bit word processor.
  • Amstrad PC: the first "cheap" IBM PC compatible range.
  • NC Series: a range of portable computers.
  • ZX Spectrum: Amstrad bought Sinclair's computer brand and produced its own ZX Spectrum range from 1986.
