There was one clone of CPC maden in Russia at 1994. The name is Aleste 520EX. Technical spec: CPUZ80H, 8MHz, 512KB, RTC, 320x200 16 (of 512) colors and 640x200 4 (of 512) colors, mouse, expansion slot with DMA access. All in one box design plus external 3.5" floppy drive. External 4 channels 8 bits per channel sound card which plays s3m and stm files. Software: all original software of CPC plus MSXDOS whith command line tools, C compiller, several windowed tools as text editor, debugger, disk editor. The computer emulate MSX2 video chip a runs several MSX2 games. The clone was popular for MSX users and homemaders.

AMSTRAD ADDICT MAGAZINE ANNOUNCED

A new 60-page Amstrad magazine - Amstrad Addict - edited by David Crookes (Retro Gamer, PC Pro, GamesTM, Wireframe, Amstrad Action, WACCI) is taking pre-orders!

It includes an interview with Lord Sugar and in-depth articles by Roland Perry, Auntie John, Adam Peters, Nich Campbell, Xyphoe, Rob Scott, Themistocles "gryzor" Papassilekas, Neil Reive, Stuart "Balrog" Whyte, Steve "WACCI" Williams and Andy Price.
