Lord of the Rings is a graphical adventure with RPG elements written 1988 by Prodatron. It is based on the novel "Lord of the Rings" by J.R.Tolkien. The game is only available in the German language.

It is completely written in basic, requires 128KB ram and uses the "bankman" RSX extension of the CPC-6128. In the "Lord of the Rings" adventure the player moves through a world ("middle earth"), grabs items and has to fight against enemies. The map of "Middle Earth" has been integrated completely into the game. The goal is to destroy the ring and to return home safety.
