AMTIX LOGO UPDATE OCT86.jpg

AMTIX! is THE magazine for the discerning Amstrad owner, combining the best in games reviews and technical know how, coping with adventures and strategy, your problems and ours!

AMTIX! was a British magazine that ran from October 1985 to April 1987. 19 issues was published in total. Of which, a special issue (Issue zero) was given away free.

After April 1987, the name Amtix! didn't fully disappear: From May 1987 until August 1988 the Computing with the Amstrad magazine (issues 29..44) did have the text "Incorporating Amtix!" on their covers. News of Database Publication's purchase of Amtix! was announced in other magazines, such as The Amstrad User and CWTA Australia.

The magazine was revived in 2021 by Fusion Retro Books in a bi-monthly format, as AmtixCPC Micro Action. Issue 1 was released in August 2021 and the first annual (collecting articles from the first five issues plus 30 pages of new content) was released in December 2022.
